STEELTOWN ENTERTAINMENT PROJECT PRESENTS
“NOW WHAT? READY, SET, PRODUCE!”

On Saturday, March 27th, 2010, STEELTOWN ENTERTAINMENT PROJECT invites you to join us in our fourth panel discussion of our debut FILM FACTORY.
This workshop, sponsored by Point Park University’s Department of Cinema and Digital Arts, will focus on what happens in the filmmaking process once a project has been “greenlit,” and the challenges that occur during the production process. Three semi-finalists will present their production plans to a panel of entertainment professionals that include:

- Joe Seamans, Writer/Producer/Cinematographer, "NOVA: Car of the Future," "The Great Robot Race"
- Lisa Smith, Co-Executive Producer, "The People Speak"

MODERATOR:
- Carl Kurlander, Executive Producer Steeltown Entertainment Project, Screenwriter, "St. Elmo's Fire," Producer, "Saved By The Bell"
At the end of the panel 1-3 finalists will be awarded the $25,000 Production Prize and be selected to produce their short films in SWPA in the summer of 2010.
The three semi-finalists who are competing for the grand prize are:
“Anywhere But Here” – Ross Thomas
“Lightweight” – Randy Kovitz and Deborah Hosking
“Roll the Dice” – Lawrence Phillis, Dave Fedor, Joe Wichryk, II & John Feightner
