Prior to discussing the filmmaking process during the next day’s FILM FACTORY special panel event,  distinguished local and expatriate filmmakers and screenwriters will be on hand to kick off another great festival.  "Precious" co-star and Pittsburgh native Xosha Roquemore will attend opening night, as will Geoffrey Fletcher, the screenwriter for "Precious." Join them at the VIP Party and also meet additional  FILM FACTORY panelists including “MAGYK” screenwriter Rob Lieber, "Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting” Academy Award winner Stephanie Lord, and Lauren Elmer of Sony Pictures Classics Acquisitions.
